Best Katayef Recipe
Ingredients
For 10 people
- 1 cup multi-purpose flour
- 1 tsp yeast
- 1 tbsp semolina
- 1 tbsp powder milk
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
Pour water and oil in ULTRABLEND +. Add flour, yeast, semolina, milk, sugar and salt.
Mix ingredients on speed 4 until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and pour in around 2 tbsp of the mixture; wait until it’s well done from the bottom and dried at the top.
Place each Qatayef, browned side down, on a tea towel until cool so you can stuff it.
