Easy Falafel Recipe
Ingredients
For 3 people
- 2 cups chickpeas, canned
- 1 cup parsley
- ½ cup cilantro
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 small-sized onion
- ¼ cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 cups oil to fry
Instructions
Put chickpeas, parsley, cilantro, garlic and onion in ULTRABLEND +. Mix using “pulse” function until combined.
Transfer mixture to a bowl. Add flour, salt, black pepper, cumin, coriander and baking powder. Mix until well combined.
Preheat oil in a frying pan over high heat.
Form falafel mixture into medium-sized balls and fry over medium-low heat until golden brown. Serve immediately.
