Marinara Pasta Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
For 3 people
- 500 g minced meat
- 1 medium-sized finely chopped onion
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 400 g peeled tomatoes
- 1 peeled carrot
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 cup meat stock
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
Heat oil in a pot over medium heat and sauté onions until browned.
Add meat and season with salt and black pepper. Mix ingredients from time to time until the meat turns brown from all sides.
Combine in ULTRABLEND + the meat stock, tomatoes, garlic, carrot, tomato paste and oregano. Blend using the “pulse” function until you get a smooth mixture.
Pour mixture over the meat and leave over low heat until liquids thicken a bit.
Serve immediately with pasta.
