Yogurt cake
Ingredients
For 8 people
- Yogurt - 1 ½ cups
- Vegetable oil - ½ cup
- Sugar - 1 ¼ cups
- Room temperature eggs - 3
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Flour - 2 ½ cups
- Baking powder - 2 ½ teaspoons
- Baking soda - ¾ teaspoon
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Butter for greasing the pan - As needed
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C and grease a baking pan with butter.
In a bowl, mix the flour with baking powder, vanilla extract, baking soda and salt.
In the Moulinex Masterchef Gourmet stainless steel bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar and oil until well combined.
Pour the yogurt and beat then add half of the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
Add the rest of the dry ingredients and keep mixing until completely homogenous.
Pour the batter in the greased baking pan.
Bake in the oven from 30 to 40 minutes until done.
Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes before unmolding.
Serve the cake cold or on room temperature.
